Farmers on the Sandstone Ridge in Cheshire will be taking part in the Big Farmland Bird Count from 7-16 February 2020.

To help support the survey, we need more volunteers to take part in the bird counts on farms across the Ridge.

This involves just 30 minutes to 1 hour on the farm to observe and record the birds seen that day, and can be done at any time of day.

Basic ID skills are fine, and if you need some training we are holding an event for surveyors with our ornithologist at Cheshire Wildlife Trust's Bickley Hall Farm, Malpas, on Monday 27 January, 10.30-12.30pm (meet promptly in the car park please).
