Cheshire's Sandstone Ridge runs roughly north-south across the county, between Frodsham and Malpas. It is easily accessible to the nearby populations of Ellesmere Port, Chester, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Nantwich, Crewe, Winsford, Middlewich and Northwich, and within an hour's drive of Liverpool, North Wales, Greater Manchester and The Potteries.
