So a reminder to everyone as you are out working, walking, running or cycling on the Ridge – please remember to protect yourself from the harmful effects of the sun and please use sun protection at all times during the current heatwave.

The work of the British Association of Dermatologists reminds everyone of 'Euromelanoma', an international campaign, focused on raising awareness of skin cancer and promoting early detection.

We also ask everyone to act responsibly whilst enjoying the great outdoors – please do not use disposable barbecues and take all litter home.
