So it is finally here!

Events and Festivals don't just happen — they are the outcome of tremendous amounts of collective work and inputs — we are indebted to you all.

Following a spectacular launch event which was held at The Successfactory last evening (our sincere thanks to our hosts Graham and Anne Wilson), the Sandstone Ridge Walk and Ride Festival is now officially open!

Thanks to our sponsors — the Successfactory, Gifford Lea Retirement Village and several Sandstone Ridge Ward Councillors. Without your remarkable support, events like this would not happen and for that we thank you.

Our thanks too, to Brian Mellor, our renowned Master Chef located right here on The Sandstone Ridge, who created the most appetising and mouth-watering bespoke Canapes — truly delicious.

Our Guest Speaker, Suzanne Miller of Broad Oak Farm and Pitch and Canvas, officially declared the Festival 'open'. Suzanne is also an active participant of our Sandstone Ridge Farmer Network. Anyone listening to Suzanne's passion about The Ridge, was assured that this magical landscape runs right through her veins.

Thank you too to Carol Siddorn, our local artisan flower grower based at Harthill — the flowers were just perfect.

So, here's hoping for fantastic weather over the next 9 days.

If you haven't sorted your bookings yet, then CLICK HERE.

Bookings are all through Eventbrite and roll off the system the evening before the scheduled event. Events will also advise if they are 'FULL'.

We look forward to seeing you.

Have a great week everyone, regards from the Sandstone Ridge Trustees.

Best regards, The Sandstone Ridge Trustees
