We all have our favourite spot on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge.

But, do we know YOUR favourites?

If you were asked to take a visitor to one or two locations that best illustrate the natural beauty of this place or its heritage interest, quite where would you take them?

The Ridge has a very strong cultural and natural character; there is a concentration of prehistoric sites, for example, as well as a series of scarps and sandstone outcrops, woodland and heathland, meres and mosses, sandstone quarries, as well as sandstone buildings, walls and sunken lanes.

As we progress with the AONB shortlisting process, we will be asked questions about views, heritage sites, particular buildings and sites of local interest.

Lots of articles on our Website illustrate the special qualities of this magical place BUT we thought it would be useful if readers could contact us with their personal favourites.

Please send in your 'favourite' using the following email address:

We look forward to hearing from you.
