It's never been more important to plant trees for the future.

National Tree Week is the UK's largest annual tree celebration, marking the start of the winter tree planting season.

We're always covering tree planting on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge but if you've been involved in a local project which has escaped our notice, then do send in a pic and we'll feature it on our website.

Most recently, a Partner Organisation (Bolesworth Estate) has been involved with one of our local environmental groups in planting an 'Avenue of Oaks' at the southern end of the Ridge (click on image to enlarge).
