There has been an air of excitement in the equestrian world as the sport begins to resume under the new government and British Showjumping guidelines.
It is more than pleasing, therefore, to see that a 'new normal' (without spectators) has returned to The Ridge and has included the showcasing of the 'Al Shira'aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championships'.
This five day young horse showcase concluded on Sunday 23 August at Bolesworth Castle, home of the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show, and featured 4, 5, 6 & 7 yr classes which incorporated the World Breeding Jumping Championship Qualifiers for 2020.
There has been lots of activity on The Ridge in the last few days and whilst spectators were not been permitted to this event, it is worth taking a glance at this link in relation to the Covid secure arrangements which are now required for events such as these CLICK HERE.
Without doubt, the planning and delivery of such a showcase event has been huge during the current pandemic and a live stream facility was in place throughout.
