Bitterly cold temperatures are forecast and wintry hazards will continue on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge over the next 24 hours.

Further wintry showers are likely overnight, and yellow warnings for ice have also been issued.

The weekend will see the start of a change to our weather, with milder air attempting to move in from the southwest.
