Experience the sights, sounds and smells of life as a 13th-century warrior as their Garrison sets up camp at Beeston Castle this weekend. Meet the mighty armoured soldiers as they train for war, and marvel at their skills as they wield spears, shields and bows.
An atmospheric encampment will be bustling with activity as medieval folk go about their daily lives. Follow the smell of fire-cooked food and the sound of merry music, and meet colourful characters from England's past.
Budding young heroes can also test their credentials with have-a-go games and activities, and let their imaginations run wild in Beeston's 40-acre woodland park.
