Ruby Wax OBE (an American-British actress, comedian, writer, television personality, and mental health campaigner) has seemingly only just discovered the importance of the quite remarkable 'Isabella Bird', who has long been associated with the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge and who not only lived locally, but who also gave local Lantern Lectures from her remarkable travels.
