Stage Two of the prestigious Tour of Britain is scheduled to take place on 4 September and will see high profile cyclists passing through areas of the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge during this, the 19th modern edition of the event.
Starting in the City of Wrexham, the exact route and timetable will be announced nearer the time but we already understand that Beeston, Tattenhall, Malpas and Cuddington Heath, will see some of the action, right here on the Ridge.
Full details of Stage Two — including the route, timetable and any road closures — will be announced in due course.
