Sandstone Ridge Farmer Network 'Bat Walk', Beeston, 24 Sept.

28/03/24
BAT

Farmers of the 'Sandstone Farmer Ridge Network' are invited on a Bat Walk at Beeston, next Monday 24 September, 7 for 7.30pm.

Apologies for the very short notice, but we are grabbing the opportunity to do our bat walk before the winter sets in.

Both the weather and temperatures are looking promising for a mild and, I hope, dry evening.

All being well, therefore, we'll get out on a walk round Peter Bull's Farm with the bat detectors to see what we can pick up.

We will have a short presentation first from Ged Ryan of Cheshire Bat Group, then out on the farm; please ensure that you have suitable footwear/clothing.

Meeting in the barn at Castleside Farm for tea/coffee from 7pm for a 7.30pm prompt start (CW6 9UA).

Chip butties and beverages will await us at the Bickerton Poacher afterwards.

Please reply/text with numbers and share lifts wherever possible.

The first 8 to reply will get a lift home from the pub!

Look forward to seeing you all.

Regards, Nicola Hall
