Heavy rainfall has literally battered The Sandstone Ridge in the last few hours.
The pattern is set to continue in the short term.
It is crucial that individuals stay safe whilst out and about.
The ground may not only be saturated with surface water in several locations but there is also the risk of loose debris.
For your safety:
- Do not walk or drive through floodwater
- Flood water is often contaminated so discard or wash and disinfect anything that comes in contact with flood water
- Do not lift manholes or attempt to access drainage systems unless authorised to do so.
