The Sandstone Ridge Trust has been approached by Mary Lavery at the Total Environment Team, CWaC.

There is available funding which has been allocated to the Cheshire West and Chester area for new native tree planting within the borough.

It is a 5 year funded planting programme with year 1 commencing last year.

Year 2 will be delivered this coming autumn/winter, and the Total Environment Team is trying to identify potential interested parties in advance of this delivery deadline.

They are working with colleagues from The Mersey Forest in the implementation of this funding.

They also have access to smaller funding streams for small scale or community tree planting projects.
