DEFRA is inviting farmers and land managers to join online information sessions about the Landscape Recovery scheme pilot.

The sessions will be a chance for you to learn more about the upcoming pilot, ask questions and share your ideas for its development.

Landscape Recovery is one of Defra's three new environmental land management schemes, as well as the Sustainable Farming Incentive and Local Nature Recovery.

Through the scheme, they aim to put in place bespoke agreements to deliver long-term, large-scale, landscape and ecosystem recovery projects.

Bids will be invited from potential pilot projects in the autumn.

DEFRA is currently planning to open applications to sites between 500 to 5,000 connected hectares. Sites could be provided by any landowner or land manager, including individuals, organisations and collaborative groups.

For more information on the available sessions (Wednesday 18 August, 14:00 – 15:30; Wednesday 25 August, 8:00 – 9.30; Tuesday 7 September, 19:00 – 20:30) and to sign up CLICK HERE.
