The Chester Folk Festival takes place annually during the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, NOT in the City of Chester, BUT in the picturesque Village of Kelsall on The Sandstone Ridge.

This year's Festival dates are Friday 24 May – Monday 27 May 2019 inclusive.

The Chester Folk Festival has been organised since 1999 and gives the people of Cheshire the chance to enjoy a wide range of different styles of live folk music, as well as dance bands and callers, sing-a-round and ceilidh.

There is also plenty of dedicated children's entertainment and workshops for visitors of all ages, as well as market stalls where you can buy crafts and handmade musical instruments.

Camping is available for weekend ticket holders.
