The Big British Butterfly Count appears to have captured your imagination.
Thanks to so many of you for sending in some fantastic images.
We will publish as many as we can before 11 August, which is the deadline for the 2019 Butterfly Count.
This morning we feature a 'Brimstone' butterfly which was photographed on the Sandstone Ridge during the last few days.
Greenish-white in colour and beautifully veined, this Brimstone was spotted on the colourful, ragged edge of a Knapweed flower head.
