We are delighted to announce that David Briggs CVO MBE KStJ has taken up the position of Patron of the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge Trust.
Retired Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, David is passionately involved with a number of charitable organisations.
He joins the Trust, just as we have received a significant grant award from CWaC as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund; as we seek to appoint a Community Engagement Officer in taking our vision forward, and as we continue our journey for proposed AONB designation.
David spent a day with Trustees last week, undertaking a familiarisation tour of the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge.
We very much look forward to working with David in the coming months as he supports the Trust in its long term strategic plan.
