We are trying to cover all your fantastic feedback and to include as many images as we can.

Our thanks to Iris Keating and Al Nuttall who led the five mile walk around Frodsham Hill on Sunday afternoon (Event 4 of our Walk and Ride Festival).

For those of you who don't know, the Sandstone Ridge stretches from Frodsham (our Northern Gateway to the Ridge) right down to Malpas (our Southern Gateway to the Ridge), and with Tarporley located at the centre (Heart of the Ridge).

Thankfully the weather was relatively kind with rain only part way through — but nothing too severe!

Have you seen the forecast for Monday — seems appropriate, therefore, that one event on Monday relates to Flood Management!

The Frodsham walk also saw one of our leaders slipping in the mud (glorious mud) but thankfully she had a very soft landing!

The key in these quite dreadful conditions is to take one's time, particularly on any steep parts.

There was great camaraderie with stronger walkers supporting others in the group.

In what have been challenging conditions, there was collective agreement that it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with great views from the top of Frodsham Hill.

Our thanks to Iris and Al and for sending in the pictorial record!

Keep looking online to see what events still have space — as we have said previously, events need to be booked on Eventbrite and bookings tumble off the system the night before the scheduled event.
