Following the recent visit by Marian Spain, Natural England's Chief Executive Officer, together with several Senior Executives on landscape etc., we publish our updated 'Frequently Asked Questions' regarding potential AONB designation for the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge.

We continue to emphasise that this is a process and that the outcome of designation is not guaranteed.

We will keep you posted on all aspects of this prolonged 'journey' as we seek to satisfy the multiplicity of criteria for designation.
