Thanks to those of you who are keeping us updated on the success of our first Walk and Ride Festival.
And, for sending in some terrific images too!
Sunday saw some heavy showers.
That said, there was much success in dodging the downpours on our Bickerton Hill event where our Event Leader, Nick Holmes, took everyone along a scenic 3 mile walk.
Using outcrops and viewpoints, Nick enlightened everyone on how geological processes and more recent human activity have shaped the mid-Cheshire landscape.
Thanks to Clare who wrote in with some fantastic feedback.
She wrote that the event was ...
'fabulous' and that 'Nick is obviously extremely passionate and hugely knowledgeable. He was really engaging and explained everything in an understandable way. He even came armed with a model of the Ridge formation and images to help explain everything'.
This proved to be a perfect Sunday outing and please pass on our thanks to Nick — we loved it!'
Keep looking online to see what events still have space — as we have said previously, events need to be booked on Eventbrite and bookings tumble off the system the night before the scheduled event.
