Most recently, German competitor (Nicolaus Peters) who was exhibiting in the 2023 Interflora World Cup held in Manchester, chose to use flowers from Carol Siddorn's business right here on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge.

Following various conversations, Nicolaus and his assistant arrived at 'Carol's Garden' and selected flowers for his entries.

No mean feat – Nicolaus is a Master Florist and seasoned competitor from Berlin!

And, let's be clear, the event attracted the global elite of floristry all competing for the ultimate accolade and a £15,000 prize.

And, yes, he WON!

Congratulations in equal measure to both Nicolaus in being named as 'World Champion' and to Carol in supplying flowers from her business here on the Ridge.

And not a one off for Carol – we have featured the multiple successes of Carol Siddorn previously whether it be as an 'Artisan Grower', her 'Flowers from the Farm', her success in teaming up with Emma Bridgewater at Christmas, or, in fact, her exhibits at the Chelsea and Tatton RHS Flower Shows.

She has also decorated stately homes like Dorfold Hall, Norton Priory, and Combermere Abbey, as well as Abbeywood, Chester Town Hall and village halls and marquees.
