If, like me, you have noticed lots of individuals and traffic on The Ridge, then say no more – CarFest North is a 'first choice event' for this weekend!

This member of the Webteam spoke to several festival goers who were camping and glamping – they had only praise and admiration for this unique landscape. Many were coming back for a second time, having attended the festival last year!

For our local businesses and services on The Ridge, we wish them luck – I know how much time and energy has been invested in this upcoming weekend with some of our farmers working 18-hour days in preparation for this fantastically worthy cause (I hope you are not too exhausted Suzanne – your reputation at Pitch & Canvas goes before you).

Let's not forget, however, that this is all for a terrific cause – BBC Children in Need.
