Just a reminder that the historic Bunbury Mill is now closed for the winter period and will re-open in the Spring of 2024.
The Mill, sited in two acres of wildlife-rich Cheshire countryside and on the River Gowy, is one of our fantastic heritage features on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge and the cakes which are available in the adjacent Tea Room are absolutely scrummy.
Built in the 1840s, Bunbury Mill is a marvellously preserved example of early Victorian engineering.
Much of the machinery is original, and the Mill still grinds local grain.
It is currently maintained and operated by a team of volunteers working for the Bunbury Watermill Trust.
