Glorious weather yet again as over 23 participants enjoyed the thrills of the Bolesworth Estate Rock Garden.

Led by the Head Gardener and horticulturalist, Andy Frostick, attendees were treated to an excellent commentary and garden tour.

That Andy has a passion for historic gardens and landscapes was obvious to all and his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm combined to make this a memorable event during our Walk, Talk and Ride Festival.

Our thanks to Bolesworth who then kindly provided coffee for all attendees before a tour of the Lake.

For those of you who may not know, Bolesworth Estate was purchased by the Barbour family in 1856.

Over many decades a complete transformation of the Castle and the landscape in which it sits, has resulted in a highly successful Estate right here on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge.
