And so it has been this week, when the Conservative whip has been withdrawn from Eddisbury MP, Antoinette Sandbach.
The Eddisbury Constituency covers a very large geographical area across two local authorities, Cheshire East and Cheshire West & Chester, and includes many residents who live and work on The Sandstone Ridge.
