As our 400 farmers and landowners across the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge will know, DEFRA issued a Press Release at the beginning of the New Year which advised farmers that they will receive increased payments for protecting and enhancing nature and delivering sustainable food production under the Government's Environmental Land Management schemes,
