Friday 22 April 2022 is World Earth Day, an annual event where people can participate in numerous activities to show their support for environmental protection.
The theme for Earth Day 2022 is 'Invest in our Planet' and is focused on finding solutions to combat the threat of climate change and making the transition to an equitable, prosperous green economy for all.
In recent months, we've all been challenged to examine the causes and impacts of climate change and how the environment can be improved through the use of green technology.
Schools across the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge will be challenging their students on Friday 22 April to think globally and act locally and to undertake a variety of activities in 'STEM Education' i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Whether you are involved in a group event or going solo — we encourage all of you to get involved and to improve your understanding of climate change and environmental harm.
