News, blog, white keyboard

We know that if you are out walking or cycling on the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge, you are always on the look out to stay awhile and enjoy a terrific location for food and drink whilst feasting on the remarkable landscapes too!

The Lost Barn in Tilston is an ideal location.

Story tells that the barn was 'blown away' in the catastrophic storm of January 1839.

The barn, therefore, became nothing more than an intriguing, noteworthy mention, scribed onto the old field maps of the historic Cheshire estate on which they are located.

A century and a half later, on the site of the former barn, a micro-roastery has now emerged.

With their hardworking, copper coffee roaster and skilled team, The Lost Barn are passionate about ethically sourcing top quality beans from far away continents and meticulously roasting them in small batches.

A friendly café team serve a selection of delicious drinks, cakes and pastries throughout the day, with an all-day brunch style food menu being served until 3pm.

The brunch menu showcases fantastic produce carefully sourced from local and artisan suppliers.
