We are reporting on another adverse weather event as Storm Arwen sweeps in.

The Met Office has issued an update over 'severe weather gusts' impacting Cheshire with winds of up to 60 mph which are expected to wreak havoc.

The warning has been extended to encompass a large area of Cheshire.

High winds and heavy rain are also likely to result in some event cancellations and poor conditions across the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge until Sunday when the weather should return to 'normal'.

Keep checking local event websites for updates ...
