To enable more of us to enjoy a dark sky, CPRE recommends that: local authorities develop policies in local plans to reduce light pollution; Highways Authorities review the need for lighting on our roads; and businesses and households review their lighting provision by dimming or switching off lights. It will save us energy and money as well!
