The Bolesworth Estate, situated at the southern end of The Sandstone Ridge, is pleased to announce the publication of the history of the Bolesworth Estate and the Barbour Family.
Bolesworth Castle and its Estate were purchased in 1857 by Robert Barbour.
Covering 6,500 acres, including a significant proportion of farm and woodland which lies on the Sandstone Ridge itself, the Estate prides itself on its land management practices.
