As a volunteer with the Trust you can:

  • Meet new people in your community
  • Learn new skills
  • Gain valuable work experience and enhance your CV
  • Indulge your passion for the environment
  • Engage with your local natural and cultural heritage
  • Help make a lasting difference to this special place
  • Make a difference to people's interaction with, enjoyment and understanding of the Sandstone Ridge

These are exciting times for you to get involved with the Trust — following on from the successful conclusion of Ridge: Rocks and Springs, we are midway through another Heritage Lottery funded project in which we are exploring ways to secure the long-term future of the area. If you have an interest in the Sandstone Ridge, and would like to help, a wide range of roles is currently available for you to choose from. Follow the links for information about each of them:

If you have seen a volunteer opportunity that you are interested in, then please complete and return our application form.

Our volunteering policy
